Dear Margaret,

Thank you so much for having me come over and spend the afternoon with you and your puppies. I so enjoy visiting and spending time with you .
As always the puppies are so precious and adorable. Saint Francis sure loves you for the care and love you give to those cocker spaniels. You have been blessed with a special touch and gift to be able to breed and raise such healthy, sweet, and intelligent animals.

This is my third cocker to add to our family , and I wouldn't think of getting one from anyone but you. Not only have I made the right choice on who I get our dogs from , but I have been given the gift of having to come to know you and becoming friends. You have provided Jim and I with loving, healthy, smart, dogs whom we adore, and the added extra bonus ,of your friendship.
There's just some special bond between us , that you and I sense in one another. Funny, how our higher power sends "angels" in different forms and shapes , if we only take the time to stop , realize and recognize. You know that dog spelled back wards is GOD, and I see his love and hand reach out to me through you, your kindness and those little creatures. Thank you for the beautiful day at the end of a very stressful , difficult week.

With love,and many thanks,

Sue

Molly and Bailey exemplify the most beautiful affectionate breeding (from their T-Bars breeding line of Blackberry Babydoll and Molly) that T-Bars Cockers has been blessed with and become known for.

Margaret

Molly & Bailey are doing excellent.    They are quite the pair.    They can’t be apart from one another.    If we should happen to take one without the other, they both are nervous wrecks.    It also seems where ever I go, they need to go.   When I had hip replacement back in May, I could only sleep in my bed for 2-3 hours before I would end up in the recliner.    The minute I would go, they were right there and sleep the rest of the night in my lap.

We still look at your website every month to keep track of what you have on your website.     It is a good thing that we do not have a bigger yard or we would have gotten the little black one with tan feet you had on your website.    I have to say, I had to put my foot down with LeAnn, since she had her heart set on coming down and grabbing it.    I about caved a few times, but the neighbors would have thought I was nuts with three dogs.

Your (2) that you sold Rick & Sandy T. are doing very good as well.   They live two houses down from us and when we have walked from time to time, we stop in and let the four dogs play together.

You can always use Molly & Baileys pictures anytime that you would like.    I have tried to take pictures, but I just don’t have your touch in getting them to stay still or cooperate together.    I am sorry it has taken so long  to get back to you, but it seems time has just flown by and before I knew it weeks have passed.    Here are a few of the pictures that turned out this evening for me.

Take Care…Ray

Dear Margaret,

I was happy to see that you have continued breeding...it looks like you are specializing in small cockers...how wonderful. I wanted to let you know that a picture I submitted to Dog Fancy's "Two Words" column of Hershey and my niece is in the February issue. I have attached the picture as well as a nice one of my niece with Shadow. I recently purchased a cream male cocker from a breeder in Buffalo. His name is Shiloh and he has completed my little cocker family. I love them all so much.

Thank you again for such bringing such wonderful dogs into the world! Laura

Rigley and Brody (left), and Rigley (right)

Hello!  I told you once I would send you updated pictures of our little boys.  I took some pictures today of them running around and playing in the snow.  These dog's are just the best dogs ever!!  Thanks so much for breeding them, you've really gave me some great dog's.  If you would like to post these pictures on your website, I would love it.  Then some people could see what great dog's you breed!  Their names are Brody & Rigley (Rigley is the darker one).  The sire was Fancy Freckles, and the mother was Kandi.  They are 7 months old on these pictures.  TAKE CARE and keep in touch!

Dear Momma Margaret:

(excerpts from a letter)

A few days after we got to out new house, Mommy and Daddy took us to someone called the "Vet."  He was really nice and he told Mommy and Daddy that you took real good care of us.  He gave us each something called a shot, which hurt us a little bit.  Then he gave us a treat.  That made it all better.

Last Sunday, Mommy and Daddy took us to the mall.  It's a big building with lots of people.  We went into something called a store.  A nice girl there took our picture.  We're sending you one so you can see what we look like now.  Aren't we cute?  Next time, Kaitie will be in the picture too.

We love you, Momma Margaret,

Erin and Haley

Hi Margaret,

Brian and I and the girls spent a week up north in the woods. We went to Bri's parents cabin in Orr Minnesota about an 11 hour ride one way. Sophie and Maisey did great. We are sending pictures of Maisey's first swim...Sophie wouldn't go swimming and some of them just relaxing. Hope all is well with you and Don. Love all the new puppy pictures. The weather was in the 90's there and now here since we came home. Stay Cool!!!!

Love,

Denise, Brian, Sophie, and Maisey

Dear Ms. Thompson:

I wanted to let you know that my husband and I purchased one of your puppies; and we absolutely adore her!! She was born on January 3, 2006.

The kids all adore her (although she's a bit timid with the 2 1/2 year old!) I am amazed at her temperament! She is very fun-loving, sweet, playful and loving! We also have 3 cats, one loves to play with Chloe and the other two, who are Ragdolls, don't quite know what to make of her!!

Although we plan to have Chloe spayed, we will complete the application to register her soon. Just wanted to let you know that she is with a family who loves her very much!!

God Bless,
Beth W

Good Morning Margaret,

I often visit your site, as it is a favorite one of my students. We love to look at the new little puppies! I was concerned when I read you were selling off many adults due to health. I am hoping that things are manageable and you are doing ok.

My puppy, "Freddi" is the most beautiful little girl! She was housebroken in less than two months and continues to be a delight. She was just the recipe for one dealing with elder care. She makes me smile every day and I can't wait to rush home to be with her. She is perfectly healthy and all who see her comment on how pretty she is. She was never destructive in any way--just a little insistent on attention! (Still is!) I can't thank you enough for my wonderful pet and the hours of joy she has given me.

Hoping the best for you and your family,

Jill M

Hi Margaret:
Hope you are well ? I just visited your website and noticed that you are selling your Dams/Sires...please please tell me that you are not getting out of THE MOST FANTASTIC COCKER SPANIELS business ? I am selfish, your dogs are the BEST .

Never in my life have I met a dog as wonderful as Jack, and I am not just saying that because he's mine, I am saying that because he has a personality, he has a beautiful soul, he's compassionate and so caring. He has more personality than many people I know, that is the truth.

As you know, Jack will be 3 years old on June 21. We are planning a small family get together with a few of his favorite friends stopping by during the day (he has taken a shine to an older black cocker spaniel named Hannah, who lives round the corner...we have to walk by her fence so he can see her every day ;-)

I will look forward to hearing back from you and I am hoping I will hear that you are doing well . We have talked about adding another 'kid' to our family, Makenna and I think it'd be great, Ken thinks that it would be difficult for Jack, to share us/his home with another dog, what do you think ?

Thank you again for giving us Jack -- I cannot find enough words to describe him, he is a delight, he makes every day a wonderful day and as Makenna always says ...' His name is Jack "Hero" Anderson. His middle name is "Hero" ... because he Saved Us from a dogless life...'

write to me soon !!

Hi Margaret

We want to thank you again for our precious Kipper. He is the absolute best boy ever!! We cant believe how sweet he is...gentle, loving, playful, highly intelligent...overall superb disposition. He loves everyone. And everyone loves him!

When I figure out how to "forward" photos, I will send an update photo of him. Thanks again Margaret. We are so happy Kipper has joined our family. And I know HE is thrilled to be here, too...he is the king! Love, Rita, Stacy, Elijah and Kipper

Hi Margaret,

I just wanted to send you a recent picture of Wrigley. She is 8 months old now and had been a WONDERFUL dog. She is smart, easy to train, and is very loving and cuddly. Wrigley has her own distinct personality and is very funny.

About once a week she goes to a "doggy daycare" to play with other dogs. She thinks she is a big dog trapped in a small dog's body and plays with german shepherds, labs, etc.

Thank you for breeding such a wonderful dog. Wrigley gets a lot of attention from people and they always ask me where we got her.

Kelly

Hi Margaret,

I wanted to thank you for all the work and effort you invested in the newest addition to our family. We have named him Shadow as he seems to be my little shadow following me all over the house. Shadow arrived at the airport safely and was not traumatized in any way. The first thing he wanted to do was play. On the ride home he munched on his food and at one point he started to whine. We stopped and I took him out and he went potty. I was so impressed. He slept in our bed and made it through the night without whining or having any apparent separation issues. Since his arrival, he has only had 3 accidents and now he regularly goes to the bathroom outside. He has even begun going to the door and whining when he needs to go out. I know we're probably trained as well as he is, but I am very proud of him. He's also fairly consistently responding to the commands sit and down. He has taken to his crate (which is equipped with bumper pads a cover and a variety of other little comforts) and much to my dismay, does better sleeping at night in his crate next to me than in his bed. The vet said he was a beautiful, healthy puppy and she was impressed by the care you had given him. This week my daughter Faith has been watching him during the day. On her first day alone with him, she needed to take her shower so she brought his little bed and some toys into the bathroom with her. As she was showering, the shower curtain started to move and Shadow was whining so she pulled back the curtain somewhat to check on him. Shadow managed to jump over the side of the tub and landed in the shower with her. He apparently liked it as he ran around the tub trying to catch the water as it fell from the shower. Faith managed to get him out of the tub, soaking wet and then got herself out and cleaned up the mess....this incident really best describes his little personality. Shadow is so loving, so full of fun and I couldn't be happier with him.

Once again, thank you for making it possible for Shadow to join our family. He has found his way into all of our hearts and has brought alot of joy to my family. I'll send pictures as soon as I figure out how to take a good picture of a black pup!!!. God bless, and Happy Holidays-Laura

Thank you so much Mrs Thompson !
Little Danielle G. Mc Chattie is adorable. My sister and brother in-law are thrilled ! You truly are "one in a million" and breed the BEST little spaniels . We all couldn't be happier or more excited to have another of your dogs join our families. I will be looking forward to coming and seeing you again and getting to be the first to get to love and work with little Danie. Between you and me, I'll have her spoiled rotten by the time my sister comes to get her, but that's an "Aunties" perogative.

Thank you again for everything.

With much appreciation and kind regards,

Sue
